ABOUT
CV
My name is Daniel! I'm a playful communication designer from Norway using co-design to uncover real needs and create solutions that genuinely improve people's lives and the planet we live on.
I’m driven by a desire to tackle complex issues. That is why, after a decade of freelance work, I'm now doing a Master's in design. My past experience honed my visual skills, and combined with human-centered methods and a playful approach, I contribute across the full process: from research and facilitation to visually strong solutions. I have a big passion for inclusive & universal design, and I’m training to become an expert that creates work that's beautiful, functional, and inclusive for as many as possible.

What
The Skill Kit turns one of the loneliest parts of job seeking into a shared, playful experience. It is a collection of games and exercises that bring job seekers together to discover and articulate their soft skills in a single session of 30–60 minutes. It's built around three goals: helping people discover and genuinely believe in their skills, understanding how to communicate them and making it fun. There are options for visual, text-based, and roleplay exercises designed to include different personalities.
Who
Collaboration with Akademikernes A-kasse, designing for newly graduated job seekers struggling to identify and communicate their soft skills.
How
A nine-week co-design process using workshops and interviews with real job seekers to gather insights, analyse and test solutions.
Roleplaying games that help jobseekers practice talking about skills in a fun way.The translation cards takes actions you can relate to and turn them into job language. The Skill Kit can be used and facilitated by anyone in an instant.
Me and my partner on this project were invited to present our project for Akademikernes A-kasse in front of 300 people during their annual meeting.
